My stay at the hotel was a bit of a mixed bag. The rooms were stunning, spacious, and comfy, but unfortunately, they felt worn down and dingy. The service was friendly and welcoming, yet at times, it seemed like they were too busy to serve us properly. The location was perfect for enjoying drinks and dinners, with a lot of history surrounding it, but it could have been better lit at night. The dining experience left much to be desired with poor quality food, although the variety was decent. The facilities were satisfactory overall.

I had a mixed experience at the hotel. The rooms were close to a noisy ventilation system and had a strange smell, making it uncomfortable. However, the staff was exceptional, being very helpful despite some lapses in service. The location was lovely, but some areas needed improvement. The dining was disappointing for the price paid.

Rooms

My room was right next to a noisy ventilation system, which was disturbing early in the morning. Additionally, there was a funny smell that wasn't pleasant. The room was uncomfortably hot from the start and quite a trek away from the main areas.
Service
7.0
The staff were excellent in assisting with various tasks, although there were some minor issues with service and communication. The price for the services offered was reasonable.
Location
6.0
The location was charming, but the heating was overly high. It provided a peaceful environment, but lacked a few necessary amenities. The proximity to the Cromwell was a plus, despite some maintenance issues.
Dining
5.0
The dining experience was a letdown, especially considering the lack of gluten-free options. The price paid did not match the quality of the food provided.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were average with some areas needing improvement. The price for the facilities offered was moderate.

The hotel was in a fairly good location, close to where we were going for a wedding. The rooms at the back of the hotel had a strange smell of toilet cleaner and were a bit difficult to access due to tight corridors and stairs.

The dining experience was almost finished before we got attention to request tea, but overall, it was great.
